Reviews issues submitted by members regarding changes they would like made to the upcoming contract negotiations. Helps to put together a package to present to the Board for negotiations.
PRIDE
PRIDE in Public Education is a campaign that shares the successes of the Scotch Plains- Fanwood public schools while building community support and involvement.
Grievance
Investigates claims by an employee or the Association based upon the interpretation, application or violation of policies, agreements and administrative decisions affecting an employee, group of employees or the Association.
Membership
Recruits new employees at the start of each school year or anytime a new staff member joins your building. Helps to distribute SPFEA gifts to staff members during Staff Appreciation Week in May.
Professional Development
Reviews the professional development activities and needs of the membership and recommends new initiatives and methods for addressing those needs.
