The Scotch Plains- Fanwood Education Association (SPFEA) represents over 600 members, including Teachers, Secretaries and ESPs in the Scotch Plains- Fanwood School District.

The SPFEA upholds the contracts the association negotiates with the board of education, and advocates for its members’ professional rights.

In addition, the SPFEA supports many projects and activities that benefit our schools, students, and community.

Studies show that strong professional associations such as the SPFEA effectively advocate for their students and communities. School districts with strong professional associations like the SPFEA also have better educational outcomes for students.
